Very much, I want to write Thank You to everyone who wrote kind words for me. I am still loopy but ok. Please know that the dog was rescued and driven to the City of Hartford Animal Shelter... I will try to highlight the dog as soon as I see his shelter post. Thank You, again I want to write Thank You to my family, police officer, firemen and EMT for being quick to my rescue and generous with medical support. This afternoon, I passed out from heat exhaustion while trying to rescue a dog that had been abandoned and horribly neglected. While feeding my Hartford cat colony, this male dog came from the brush, howling in pain and panting from the heat. I tried for nearly an hour to get this dog into my car with no success. Unfortunately, the heat took its toll on my body. As well, I was out for many minutes. Thankfully, my mom and a police officer were on the scene...
I just want to give a major biggups for those who are out there, grinding, hustling trying to do right by service, advocacy, rescue and support. I don't regret the rescue. I just need to carry a snack pack... Take it easy, y'all... Fancy Feast:
