About 6wks ago, I was leaving updates on a female Calico, named Autumn. She was a pregnant female from one of my Hartford cat colonies. I had posted that I needed help for her with placement. Thankfully, Protectors of Animals (POA) responded with refuge and placement

Thank You to Christine for responding; Judy for trapping; Martha for Intake and Jan for fostering. Yesterday, Autumn was placed with a community member. I know it wasn't easy for she was a spirited feline; however, they gave her time and found her a home. She will have a better second half of life. Valhalla

Last, many weeks ago, I posted for volunteers. Please know that I still need help. I can't keep up with the demand for pet food and cat colony help. I am not a traditional rescue organization. My niche is that I distribute pet food to families in greater Hartford. As well, I offer medical sponsorship, information and referral with case management who are in crisis. I don't expect for anyone to help with case management but I do need help with growing this organization. There are good families in Hartford who love their pets but there is also tremendous need. Presently, I need two volunteers or supporters to help me grow NALU to meet some of this need.
